Straightforward Process

1. Measuring Your Roof
Before any work is undertaken a thorough inspection of your roof is made by our surveyor. The tiles are then carefully pressure cleaned from the ridge downwards removing all traces of moss, lichen and any other unwanted residue. During the wash, downpipes are disconnected, guttered is cleaned both inside and out and all surrounding areas are covered to protect them.
2. Cleaning & Remedial Work
Once your roof has been cleaned, all frost damaged, cracked and broken tiles are replaced. Dislodged and unaligned tiles are rectified and all necessary repointing of ridges, verges, valleys, hips and chimneys is carried out. This is all included within the price we quote. Once all remedial work is completed we treat your roof with a biocide using a low pressure lance. This kills any remaining moss or lichen spores and prevents re-growth.
3. Micro-porous Coating
The vital final stage of your roof renovation is to reseal your roof. We apply two coats of micro-porous, UV coating. This breathable coating is specifically designed for roof tiles. It waterproofs the entire roof, therefore preventing the re-growth of moss, lichen and frost damage. We are proud to be approved installers of Andura, the largest manufacturers of long life specialist coatings throughout Europe, who supply this coating which is tested by the Paint Research Association PRA. Not only is your roof now protected but the coating beautifies the surface of your tiles giving them the colour and appearance of a new roof, guaranteed for a minimum of 10 years.

Replace Broken Tiles

Once the roof has been thoroughly cleansed, we will then replace any broken or damaged tiles and re-point any cement area as necessary. This is all included in the price even if there are as many as 100+ tiles to replace. There is no need to worry about any hidden costs.

Prevent Growth of Moss & Lichen

Age takes a toll on your roof, it's continuously attacked by the elements. Tiles, cement and chimneys degrade and become porous. This means that you roof becomes progressively less able to withstand water penetration, creating ideal conditions for the growth of moss and lichen which can lead to requiring re-roofing.
